Cookies Policy

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. Some are necessary for a shop to work at all. Others are optional. This page explains which ones this site uses and how to turn off the ones you do not want.

Strictly necessary cookies

These make the site function. Without them you could not put a watch in a basket or complete a purchase, so they cannot be switched off from within the site.

  • Session and cart cookies, which remember which watch you are buying as you move between pages
  • Checkout and order cookies, which carry your order through payment
  • Account login cookies, if you create an account
  • Security cookies, which protect forms against automated abuse

Payment provider cookies

When you pay, our payment providers set their own cookies on their own checkout systems. These are used to process the transaction and to detect fraud. They are governed by each provider’s own privacy and cookie policies, not by ours.

Analytics cookies

We use analytics to understand, in aggregate, which pages people visit and how they found us. This tells us which watches people are looking at and where our visitors come from. It does not tell us who you are, and we do not use it to build an advertising profile of you.

What we do not use

We do not run advertising cookies, retargeting pixels or third-party ad networks on this site. We do not sell data collected through cookies.

How to control cookies

Every major browser lets you see the cookies a site has set, delete them, and block future ones. The controls are usually under Settings, then Privacy and security. You can also browse in a private or incognito window, which discards cookies when you close it.

One warning worth stating plainly: if you block strictly necessary cookies, the basket and checkout will stop working and you will not be able to buy a watch here. Blocking analytics cookies has no effect on your ability to use the site.

Changes

If we add or remove tools that set cookies, we will update this page.
